3rd Act Architecture + Consulting was founded by Sam Andras, AIA / NCARB. Sam's experience includes both design and construction. Since 2013, he has completed over 150 designs of cultivation and/or vertically integrated facility. He is also the author of "Building Design and Construction: An Architect's Perspective" which was published by Wiley and Sons in 2025.

The firm offers a variety of services for cannabis operators from initial project planning to full turnkey design-build services. Our turnkey services are provided with 3rd Act A+C serving as a design-builder. As such, you hold a singular contract for project delivery. Our responsibility is to bring the right design and construction teams to the table for ensuring a vision-aligned project delivery where vision is the goals, needs, budget, and schedule. Other services offered by 3rd Act A+C include owner's representative, preliminary planning, test-fits, programming, cost opinions, and peer reviews.
